Activate the LENA Software
Activation registers your unique LENA Product Key as being in use. These steps apply to all LENA Pro legacy software packages, including Pro, Grad, Pilot, and Collector.
A 30-day grace period is allowed after installation to complete the required product activation.
After you install your LENA software, you will see a prompt to activate the product.
1. To proceed with activation now (recommended), click Activate LENA.
Note: You may instead close this dialog and continue using LENA within the grace period. The prompt to activate will appear at each launch, or you may pull it up from Client Manager under Help/About when ready to activate.
2. Choose "Activate by phone or email."
Automatic activation using the internet has been disabled. Activation must be completed by phone or email.
3. Copy and paste the highlighted Activation Request code into an email to LENA Support.
Send the copied code to [email protected]
4. LENA Support will respond with an Activation Key code. Copy the Activation Key onto your clipboard.
If you are no longer showing the Activation window, go to Client Manager and click on Help/About to bring it back up.
5. With "Activate by phone or email" selected, click the Activate button.
6. Enter Activation Key.
- Right click on the gray part of the Enter Activation Key window to pull up the Delimited Paste option.
- Then click Delimited Paste. Your Activation Key will be segmented and pasted in.
- Click OK.
7. Receive confirmation of your product activation.
Note: If activation has failed, please contact LENA Support.
8. Close the About LENA Pro window, and start using your LENA System.
For LENA Pro Pilot and LENA Pro Grad, the About LENA Pro window displayed after activation shows your license expiration date. Make a note of the date, and plan to export all data needed for further analysis prior to this date, before you lose access.
