Queue up a series of recorders for processing
If you have several DLPs to upload, you can connect them, one at a time, to queue them up for processing.
If you are running an earlier version of LENA Pro, your files will process one at a time, in sequence. With LENA Pro version 3.4 (or later), the software will simultaneously process files up to the number of cores on your computer. Any additional files will queue for processing and be picked up as soon as resources are available.
1. Wait for the first file to finish transferring.
You will see the status change from "Transferring" to "Processing" or "Pending," depending on system resources.
Processing status indicates that:
- file transfer is complete, and the software is now analyzing the file
- the associated DLP is empty and ready to be disconnected and prepared for the next use
- the software is ready to accept file transfer from another DLP
Pending status indicates that:
- file transfer is complete, so you can disconnect the recorder and prepare it for the next use
- the file is in the software, waiting in line for processing
- the software is ready to accept file transfer from another DLP
2. Disconnect the first DLP.
Set it up to charge with the wall charger.
3. Power on the next DLP, then connect it to the LENA computer.
4. Assign the file.
Follow the usual procedures to assign to a new or existing child.
5. Second file begins "Transferring."
- Do not disconnect the DLP.
- Do not connect another DLP.
6. Second file's status changes to "Pending."
Status will change to Processing as soon as processing resources are available - which may be right away if you have a multi-core processor.
