Adjust Computer Power Settings for Uninterrupted Processing

Your computer must remain powered on throughout processing.

Follow these steps to ensure your hard drive does not go go sleep between files queued for processing.

1. Click on Start, then Control Panel.

2.1. If your Control Panel is set to View by Small Icons, select Power Options.

2.2. If your Control Panel is set to View by Category you will first select System and Security….

…and then select Power Options.

…and then select Power Options.

When you first open Power Options you will see your current power plan setting.  We recommend the High performance power plan.

3. Click the Show additional plans arrow to see the High performance option.

4. Select High Performance.

5. Click Change plan settings.

5.1. Set "Put the computer to sleep" as Never, then click Save changes.
