Initialize flash drive to receive LENA Collector files
Purchase of a LENA Collector includes a specially formatted flash drive that triggers the copying of LENA recording files when connected to the Collector computer. In some instances it may be desirable to format another flash drive to work with the Collector.
1. Open LENA Pro.
2. Connect a flash drive to the computer via USB.
3. In Client Manager select Advanced, then Initialize LENA Flash Drive.
4. LENA will prompt you to initialize the flash drive. Select Yes.
Note: Doing so will not overwrite other files on your thumb drive. However, to preserve maximum space for your LENA files it is best practice to designate a separate thumb drive to be used only with the LENA Collector.
5. LENA will load files onto the flash drive.
6. You will receive notification that the flash drive has been initialized.
Your LENA Flash Drive is now ready to be used with the LENA Collector.
