How to reset a LENA Recorder

Resetting may resolve certain problems, eliminating the need to return the device for repair.

Resetting does not affect the memory - no recordings will be deleted.

Make sure there is some charge in the unit.

Simultaneously press the Power and REC buttons.  Hold for about 10 seconds.

The screen will briefly read "Resetting" and then go blank, indicating that the device has successfully reset and powered off.

If the reset was done in preparation for a return to our lab for diagnosis and repair, it is now ready to be packed and shipped with the RMA.

If further troubleshooting is the next step, you can now power the recorder back on.

Note: If the hard reset procedure doesn't give you the desired result, you can then try holding just the power button for 5-10 seconds.
