Delete processed UPL files from LENA Collector software

The Collector software does not automatically delete the UPL files after the data have been transferred to Pro via flash drive, and there is no mechanism for deleting the files via the user interface.

You may need to delete these files to save space and/or to comply with the rules of your project.

You should delete UPL files only after confirming that the audio has processed successfully on the Pro computer.  If you will continue collecting new audio in the interim between sending the flash drive and receiving confirmation of successful processing, you should keep careful notes about the date the last set of files were sent, so that you can omit more recent files from the list of files to be deleted

1. Search the Collector data directory for UPL files.

Use File Explorer to search C:\ProgramData\LENA for "*.upl".

2. Delete all resulting UPL files from before the last confirmed successful file transfer.

Hint:  The date of upload is encoded in the filename.  For example, a file uploaded to the Collector on 14 September, 2016 at exactly 14:57 would have the filename 20160914_145700_[DLP serial number].upl
